Actress Kim Tae-hee has delighted fans by sharing glimpses of her recent trip to New York.

On the 11th, Kim Tae-hee posted on her personal channel, “Thanks to Butterfly, I was able to visit New York for the first time in ages....”

She went on to share, “I took a leisurely stroll at Little Island, which my niece recommended, chatted loudly with my college friend who lives in New York at a trendy café in Soho, and was amazed that the Brooklyn Bridge—where I filmed my very first commercial 20 years ago—remains just as beautiful.....^^”

Kim Tae-hee visited New York on the 5th to attend the world premiere of the Prime Video original series Butterfly.

Butterfly, in which Kim Tae-hee stars, is a psychological espionage thriller based on the graphic novel of the same name. The series follows a CIA agent who must confront shadows from the past. Kim Tae-hee plays a pivotal character who holds the key to a dramatic turning point, showcasing both her nuanced emotional acting and commanding presence.

Butterfly also marks Kim Tae-hee’s Hollywood debut. The series stars Daniel Dae Kim in the lead role, with a strong lineup of Korean actors including Park Hae-soo, Kim Ji-hoon, Sung Dong-il, and Lee Il-hwa. Butterfly is set to premiere on Prime Video on the 13th, and will also air in Korea on tvN.
